Everything Old is New again.

Packing up my house~ you’d think I’d be good at it by now.  After all, this is only the 7th time we’ve moved since we were married.  Certainly, I’ve gotten better at some things~ purging is easier.  Giving away things is MUCH easier and finding a way to have nothing broken has become my specialty.

But here, as I sit in my mess of boxes, we find treasures.  Photos that were misplaced or forgotten, shirts that the washer ate have magically appeared again~ I have a new wardrobe!   We discover books and cards, shoes and CDs.  It’s like Christmas!  Everything old is new again!

Tonight, I “found” a passage of scripture that I’ve read many times before.  But tonight it was just fresh and new; enlightening and encouraging.   Read Romans 8~ it’s so full of good stuff.

VS. 24 says: But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? 25But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.

Wow, I needed that.
